Reindeer Logistics, Inc. held its ground breaking ceremony on December 9th, 2006 for the new building it is constructing in Bennett Technology Park in Zionsville. The event was attended by Reindeer employees and their families, representatives from Paragon General Contractors, Inc., representatives from Ward Engineering, and Curran Architecture.
The project, which has been in the works since late February, is finally coming to fruition. The building is due to be completed by the end of May and will house Reindeer Auto Relocation's 30 plus employees on the second level. The first level of the building is going to be leased to other tenants and other Reindeer Logistics businesses it will be pursuing after moving into the building. The company is moving from its current location inside the Stutz Business Center downtown, a space that it has simply outgrown.
The land and building are owned by Reindeer Property Management (RPM) whose principals are Jo and Tim Donnar, Ritchie and Lisa Shewmaker, and Brad Willy.
"I never thought I'd be standing here today when I started the company in the basement of my home almost 10 years ago. This is truly a great moment for the company and for me personally," Tim Donnar said.
