Lessons we learned in 2011

12.30.11

  • Be patient, continue to work hard and good things will eventually come of it.
  • Everything happens for a reason. Be patient and wait for God to show you what He has planned for you.
  • To just be grateful for what you have.
  • ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN!!!
  • Don't take for granted the life you lead, stay positive, give back, and spend as much time with your friends and family! Life is way too short, and you never know when you will not have someone in your life!
  • No matter how many changes go on in my life, God will always be the one constant.
  • The road may be rough at times the journey is the best part. Appreciate what you have while you have it because we never know what tomorrow holds.
  • Ever since I started, everyone had always talked about how busy the summers were as if it were this great mythical legend and to be prepared! So I waited, and waited for it to come. At one point I wasn't sure it was going to! And just as my doubts were getting bigger.....BAM! The storm came! So if there's anything I've learned here, is that 'the myth' is true!
  • Patience
  • If you work as a team you can accomplish anything...look at the obstacles we as a company have had to overcome this year, yet we still all came together and managed to give 17 families a Christmas that they may have otherwise never experienced...That shows Strength, Courage and Integrity...
  • There is no place I would rather be then on the floor playing with my baby. I have cancelled plans and an spending new years at home because I hate leaving her.
  • Age does not determine the outcome of any opportunity you may be given. Giving 100% day in and day out and not taking shortcuts won't put you in the lead at the beginning, but you will outshine and finish in first every time.
  • That I'm not 20 anymore!!
  • 2011 taught me new depth of UNDERSTANDING ... That I am stronger than I thought I was ...That a smile from a child can make the worst of days BETTER..(ok I have known that for awhile).
Whatever lessons you learned in 2011, I hope you carry them with you into the new year and beyond. May the new year bring you great health and happiness – Happy New Year to our Reindeer Team!
