It's more than just "work"

Let's face it - work is just that...work. We all wake up and have our times of moaning and groaning all the way to the car...and possibly on the ride to work.

I, personally, enjoy coming to work - the position I have and the people I work with make it easier to cope with that thing we all have to do – work! The fun "extras" that Reindeer provides have become, simply, a bonus!

Reindeer allows us to participate in group activities that make our time here more pleasurable. The Birthday Club, the Lunch Club, and the quarterly parties at PMCH are just a few opportunities available.

The Lunch Club was created by Gauravi Patel to allow a break from the normal lunches and get a lunch out- without going out. It's small price to pay to have something to look forward to! It's a wonderful idea for those of us that may not be able to get out for lunch- or those who don't want to play in the rain?.

Birthdays are a big deal at Reindeer. We believe they should be celebrated and fun for all. Hence, the Birthday Club was designed. Each birthday gal or guy gets a small gift, an email to announce their special day, and - of course - cake! Birthday Fridays are celebrated on the 2nd Friday of every month. We combine all the birthdays of the month and celebrate at once – and bring in a fun and tasty treat for all to indulge.

Valentine's Day, Easter, Halloween, and Christmas have taken on more excitement at Reindeer ... they offer us a chance to have fun at PMCH with the kids. It's a great opportunity to do crafts with each child (and we love doing crafts!). We provide snacks and small gifts to try to make the kids' stay even a portion easier on them. The good feeling you get when you leave a party is just another extra to add to the list!

As said by Dale Carnegie: "People rarely succeed unless they have fun in what they are doing." Work is just work unless you throw a little fun into it!
