I hope that your 4th of July weekend was a success, and there was plenty of fun to go around! I know that we have talked a lot about our summer season, and you are all aware of the chaos this brings.

After months of preparation for the summer, we still seem to be having a hiccup here or there, but we are on the right track. The Reindeer crew seems to be plugging away and working hard. I have to say, I'm proud of the Reindeer staff this year. As we adjust and grow, we've also grown to be a great team and are pitching in to provide great service- whatever department that may be in.

We have one sure tail sign that summer has arrived…our phones seem to ring off the hook! I find this to be a wonderful thing, but others may have a different stance on it. Here at Reindeer, our phones are our #1 priority- just ask our President, Brad?.

Whether it be personal or at work, I know that it can be frustrating dealing with different behaviors people may have when calling- irate, nice, hurried, ect. Here are just a few things that may assist with these circumstances:
  • Smile with your voice. The person on the other end will feel better knowing that you are listening to their needs/concerns from your tone.
  • Express yourself clearly. It may save from running circles on the same subject to make it clear- thus saving your time and theirs.
I found a quote for this week that may be appropriate..."I like my telephone, my computer works just fine, my calculator is perfect, but Lord, I miss my mind!"
