      • What types of vehicles do you ship?

    While our primary business is relocating vehicles, boats and motorcycles for corporate clients, we also welcome personal relocations.  We can move any type of vehicle anywhere in the world!

      • How far in advance should I schedule the transport of my vehicle?

    It is best that you schedule your move as far out as possible so that we can better tailor the move to suit your needs.  However, if an immediate pick up is necessary, we can arrange for that as well. Just call us!

      • How do I get a quote?

    Simply call or email your request to us at 800.548.8330 or sales@reindeerauto.com.  We will need to know the make, model and year of the vehicle(s), the pick-up/drop off addresses and dates of transport.  The cost to ship a vehicle varies widely, but we can typically get you a quote within minutes.

      • What payment options are available?

    Corporate relocations are invoiced to the appropriate company.  For individual relocations we accept credit card payments at time of pick-up.

      • What is an oversize fee?

    Some vehicles are much larger than traditional passenger vehicles—most full size SUVs fit into this category.  Due to the extraordinary dimensions, these vehicles take up the amount of space normally used for two vehicles; thus resulting in the need for an “oversize” fee.

      • What is door-to-door transport?

    With door-to-door transport, you don't have to go to a terminal to ship or pick up your vehicle.  We pick vehicles up at, and deliver to, residences, offices or any other designated place for your convenience (pickup and delivery is subject to accessibility and local laws).

      • How long will delivery take?

    Transport time varies depending on origin and destination location.  We will give you an estimate once the move is scheduled and do our best to both pick up/deliver within the window of the time we quote.  It is important to remember that drivers are limited by law to a specific number of miles and hours per day.  Other variables that may affect transport times include deliveries along the way, severe weather and road conditions.  We will communicate with you daily during the move so that you are always updated of any changes in the schedule.

      • When will my vehicle be delivered?

    We deliver every day of the week and schedule for your convenience.  Since a thorough inspection cannot be completed in the dark, evening deliveries are not allowed.  We can typically guarantee delivery within a window of a few hours, but if unforeseen  circumstances occur we will communicate any changes immediately.

      • How can I track my vehicle(s) and get updates?

    Simply click on the auto locator on our website or download the reindeer auto tracker app.  Your assigned relocation specialist will communicate the progress with you throughout the move.

      • Do I have to be present when we pick up or deliver your vehicle?

    Yes, we request you, or a designated person, be present at both pick up and delivery.  An inspection is performed at both times, and a contract bill of lading must be signed.  If you are not able to be there, it is important that the designated person is aware of what to do.

      • What if my vehicle is damaged?

    In the unlikely event that a problem occurs, we will review and respond quickly to resolve it.  At pick up, the carrier will complete a detailed physical inspection of the vehicle on a bill of lading that you must acknowledge and sign.  We highly recommend taking photos.  This same inspection form will be presented upon delivery.  If any damage occurred during transport,  please be sure to note it on the bill of lading at that time and have the driver sign in agreement.  We cannot accept a claim if the damage is not noted at the time of delivery and acknowledged by the driver.  The damage must be reported to your reindeer relocation specialist or by contacting our quality care department (800.548.8430 or claims@reindeerauto.com) within one business days of delivery in order for us to file a claim.

      • If my vehicle is damaged, who is liable?

    Our goal is to ship your vehicle on time and damage free.  Reindeer auto relocation is a federally licensed transportation broker, arranging and coordinating auto transport on your behalf with quality, insured car haulers.  Ultimately, the carrier contracted by reindeer is responsible for any damage caused by their handling of your vehicle, subject to certain limitations.  We will  work to resolve any claim equitably and seek recovery against any carrier who may have caused damage.  All licensed car haulers are required by federal law and Reindeer to maintain a minimum level of cargo damage.  Reindeer requires all our partner carriers to provide proof of insurance issued by a licensed insurance provider.

    All auto carriers hired by reindeer have acknowledged and agreed to the following:

    • Uphold compliance with all Federal Highway, Safety and DOT regulations.
    • Obtain and provide proof of reindeer required levels of insurance coverage:  minimum $1,000,000 liability / $100,000 cargo
    • Maintain a professional and polite demeanor with every vehicle owner at all times, and provide VIP service to all Reindeer  moves.
    • Complete and submit SIGNED inspection form(s) at pick up and delivery.
    • Do their absolute best to deliver every load on time—clean and of course, damage free (just as if it was their own)!
    • Constant communication/updates via phone, text, email, etc., from pick-up through delivery.
